Brantford-Brant MP Appointed as Associate Shadow Minister for Indigenous Services

Larry Brock, Member of Parliament for Brantford-Brant has been named Associate Shadow Minister for Indigenous Services Canada, by the Hon. Pierre Poilievre Leader of Canada’s Conservatives and the Official Opposition.


“I am extremely honoured by the trust the Hon. Pierre Poilievre has placed in me to serve as the Associate Shadow Minister for Indigenous Services," Brock said. “I am excited to take on this new role and I am committed to working in the best interest of Indigenous peoples in Canada. Having Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit within my riding of Brantford-Brant, Indigenous issues have always been and will continue to be one of my priorities.”

MP Bock will use his new role to work towards advancing the 94 Calls to Action brought forward by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.


Brock remains on the Special Joint Committee on the Declaration of Emergency (DEDC) and on the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. “I will persist in my advocacy for victim’s rights and strive for better access and accountability in our justice system.”
